LANDSCAPES IN WATERCOLOUR
                                  Maximum number of students 8
INSTRUCTOR:  Angela Herbert-Hodges
DATES:    February 24th & 25th
TIME:       9.30am-3.30pm
COST:      $140 for both days!
DESCRIPTION:  This session will be seeing, understanding and capturing sunlight,shade & shadow.  Emphasizing the use of inventive colour & abstract shapes
Must have 5 students.
 

WATERMEDIA COLLAGE                                                      Maximum number of students 8
INSTRUCTOR:  Angela Herbert-Hodges
DATES:      March 23rd & 24th
TIME:         9.30am-3.30pm
COST:        $140 for both sessions:
DESCRIPTION:  The primary focus in this experimental watermedia collage workshop will be
 to explore the possibilities of application of many different collage papers.  Some papers we will dye, others such as "found" papers & unresolved watermedia paintings will be used.


EXPLORING ALTERED BOOKS
   Two day workshop!
INSTRUCTOR: Barbara Israel
DAY: Saturday
DATES: February 25th & March 3rd
TIME: 9:30am-12:00pm 
COST: $55 and $5 supply fee for teacher provided materials (AI&G Members receive 10% off of tuition for classes, not Supply Fees)
DESCRIPTION: In this class students will alter an existing book to transform it into their own work of art. Numerous techniques will be introduced to incorporate into each student’s book including: collage, stamping, stenciling, adding tags, making pockets, creating windows, adding eyelets, adding textures, masking, transferring images and more.Join us for a fun class exploring this unique art form!

PYSANKY OR UKRANIAN EGG DECORATION       New Workshop!
INSTRUCTOR:  Myroslawa (Monika) Pawliuk
DAY & DATE: Saturday, March 10
TIME:  11:00am-3:00pm (1/2 hour lunch break)
COST:  $50
DESCRIPTION:  We will learn the history of Pysanky, with an explanation of the tools and symbols used.  Students will learn and practice techniques and will move on to making several of your own Pysansky eggs.
SUPPLY LIST:  small kitchen towel, empty egg carton, a slow burning candle with candle holder
